Bill Woodson is New College of Florida’s first Chief Diversity Officer and Dean of Outreach, and leads the Office of Outreach and Inclusive Excellence. Dr. Woodson has a broad background that, in addition to higher education administration and program management, includes Fortune 500 marketing, international business development, management consulting, and inclusion advocacy. His passion for advocacy strongly influenced his doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership when the events of the summer of 2014 led him to focus his dissertation research on the relationship between law enforcement and the black community.
His credentials also include a masters degree from Harvard, an MBA from Michigan, and a bachelors from Brown University, where he majored in Urban Studies. He has two adult children. His special needs son Ajani works for a Fortune Global 50 financial institution, and was recently chosen to represent his company on a regional advocacy board for people with disabilities. His daughter Erica teaches at an international bilingual school in Beijing, China.

Steven Keshishian graduated from New College with a degree in economics. A past student government president, Steven is currently a Marketing and Social Media Specialist in the Office of Outreach and Inclusive Excellence at New College. He was the fundraising director for Palmetto City commissioner Sheldon Jones and served as policy co-chair and board advisor for the anti-gun violence organization Million Hoodies.
